1 kilo fresh shrimp
2 ea chile california (dried)
4 cloves garlic, peeled
1/4 cup olive oil
2 ea bay leaves
2 ea oregano sprigs (Mexican)
3 ea mexican limes

Method & Notes

  1. slice the chile into thin strips
  2. heat the oil in the pan with the chile and garlic.
  3. when the chile starts to turn color drop the shrimp, bay leaves and oregano into the oil.
  4. season with tapatillo sauce, lime juice, and salt
  5. cook until the shrimp are barely done
  6. drizzle with fresh lime
