1/4 cup heavy cream

Method & Notes

  1. simmer the turnips in salted water until tender but not mushy
  2. strain and let cool
  3. bring your cream to a boil with the butter
  4. add the turnips
  5. cook until the turnips start to fall apart
  6. season with salt, pepper and thyme
