These meatballs are spicy and aromatic. The sausage helps keep the meatballs juicy.

Ingredients

1/4 pound spicy Italian sausageView Recipe
1/4 cup diced green peppers
1/4 cup diced yellow onions
1/4 cup diced celery
2 cloves minced garlic
1/2 ts dried oregano
1/2 cup diced sourdough bread
1 ea egg
1/2 ts kosher salt
1/4 ts cracked black pepper

Method & Notes

  1. Lightly saute the peppers, onions, celery and garlic.
  2. Allow to cool and mix with the meat and all other ingredients.
  3. Form into 12 more or less equal balls.
